New year, new conversations

Even the most intimate areas of our lives touch on our human rights. In WIRE, read the compelling stories of women, men and children who have experienced this personally. Discussing sexual and reproductive rights can be difficult: we hope you will accept the challenge and join our new global campaign, My Body My Rights. Because by daring to articulate the problems, we can start creating solutions, together.

Also in WIRE, see the art being censored in Russia, and tell President Putin to stop attacking freedom of expression before the Sochi Olympics start in February. And keep writing for rights. People like Mohammed al-Roken, a lawyer silenced in the United Arab Emirates, need our support.

As our global Write for Rights campaign showed in December, many voices calling for change can be very difficult to ignore.

Hope Amnesty International can address the so far neglected human rights issues as well.
