The sign says “no se mata la verdad matando al periodista” / “One does not kill the truth by killing the journalist.”
The photographers were killed by unknown assailants, their bodies were found dumped together in plastic bags by a canal in the eastern Mexican state of Veracruz on 3 May 2013, less than a week after the killing of a reporter for an investigative news magazine.
